‘Parents send girls to sell bodies for food’

With child prostitution rife in the Free State and rapidly growing, it has emerged that some parents are actually sending their daughters onto the streets to earn an income to help feed the family.

This is the situation in Harrismith and surrounding areas in the eastern Free State where community members have told The New Age that prostitution had become a “normal occurrence” among young women.

An employee at a garage near where some girls ply their trade said the age of street girls was steadily decreasing.

“We see girls as young as 14 being brought here and we are still trying to figure out how they get here.”

He said some travel to QwaQwa and other areas of the eastern Free State to try to make a living.

“These girls should be at school, not doing this nonsense,” he said.

The worker, who preferred to remain anonymous, said he regularly interacted with girls and some of them told him that they were forced by their parents to sell their bodies.

Harrismith is a trade route to various parts of the country and has become a hub of prostitution in the province.

The girls target the truck drivers who stop for a rest or a quick bite at the local truck stop.

Some of the drivers who sleep over hire women to stay with them overnight.

Lecholo Nkabanti, a Commission on Gender Equality spokesperson who deals mainly with human trafficking in the Free State, agreed that child prostitution was on the rise in the province.

“Some of the families here send their children to do prostitution in order to survive,” Nkabanti said.

Last year the commission worked mainly in the eastern Free State where it interviewed girls about their reason for choosing sex work.

He said the commission came to the conclusion that sometimes the decision was made by parents and that “poverty leads the pack” for this choice.

‘How do I get better at sex?’

‘How do I get better at sex?’ – IOL Lifestyle | IOL.co.za

QUESTION: This is a weird question, but how do I get better at sex? My boyfriend is much older than me and way more experienced. I don’t have any complaints about him, and no one’s said I’m bad at it before. He hasn’t said anything, but I get the feeling that it’s just OK. I want our sex life to be great. I tried to watch porn to get some ideas and new techniques, but it turns me off. Is there any way to get better at sex? – YR

ANSWER: Actually, it’s not a weird question, and I wish more people would take an active interest in improving their sex lives, to please their partners and themselves.

In a recent online survey for CommitmentNow.com, 52 percent of people reported that they were unhappy with their sex lives. I hope they, like you, are being proactive in addressing that concern.

Sex isn’t everything in a relationship, but if you’re having it, it should be good. And if it’s not, it’s worth working on to make it so. Life is too short to have bad, or mediocre, sex.

Start by communicating with your partner that you want to step up your game when it comes to sex. There’s an implicit promise there that you’re willing to have more sex and try new things, which should go over marvellously.

Before you rush to the bedroom, talk to each other about your likes and dislikes and fantasies that you would like each other to fulfill. Remember to keep the conversation positive: “I really like it when you do X” or “Y drives me wild” will go over better than “I hate it when you XYZ”. This is an opportunity for improvement, not criticism.

Of course, there’s a difference between theory and application. So once your partner fills you in on what he likes and you’ve done the same, set a date and time – the sooner the better – to put your newfound information to good use.

Things may not improve immediately, but a willingness to please is half the battle. Keep up the practice and the enthusiasm, and you’ll have your ideal sex life sooner rather than later.

I realise that not everyone is comfortable talking about sex, even with the person with whom they are having it. If the idea of talking frankly with your partner about your sex life is unfathomable, you still have some options.

In the bedroom – or wherever you and your partner like to get it on – ask your partner to be explicitly vocal about what he likes so you’ll have cues about what works best for him. Use his verbal cues to figure out what he enjoys the most, and whatever that is, do it more often and with more enthusiasm. Ask him to take the same approach with you.

There’s also an option that seems to baffle some people when I suggest it: Take a sex class. For anything else that people don’t know, seeking instruction is a logical step, but when it comes to sex, some find it taboo. It shouldn’t be.

A few months ago, I signed up for a class, “How to Have Better Sex”, being held at one of my local sex shops. I did it partially because it was a work assignment – plus I was wildly curious about what went on there. Would it be like a high school biology class that focused on how parts work, or would it get to the nitty-gritty of how parts are best pleasured?

Turns out the answer was both. The instructors quickly ran through the basics of anatomy so we all knew what there was to work with, where everything was located and which nerve endings were the most sensitive. Then they got into the tips and tricks of how to best please your partner (and/or yourself), which took up most of the class. It was well worth the price.

My only complaint about the class, which has nothing to do with the instruction, was the lack of men in attendance. Of the 30 or so participants, just two were men, who had shown up with their wives. Hopefully, men are finding ways to improve their performance – because sex is something at which both sexes should be striving to be better – in a more hands-on route and not just assuming they know it all. – The Root / The Washington Post News Service

Woman who auctioned virginity: ‘Im still a virgin’

A 20-year-old Brazilian girl, who auctioned off her virginity to the highest bidder in October last year, says she is still a virgin.

After having ‘sold’ her most ”priced possession” on an online auction website for $780,000 (over R6m), Catarina Migliorini is now crying foul, claiming she was the victim of a scam.

“I felt I was a victim … I was misled by Mr. Justin Sisely,” Migliorini was quoted by Huffington Post as saying.

“I believe he is trying to defraud me and others,” she said.

According to Migliorinia the man from Japan known as “Natsu”, who made the bid in 2012, did not match the description she had been given by auction organiser Justin Sisely. Migliorinia says she went to meet the man in Australia but they never had sex.

Mayor probed in porn row

Mayor probed in porn row – Crime & Courts | IOL News | IOL.co.za

Cape Town – Cederberg municipality mayor Jonas White is being investigated by police for allegedly sending pornographic pictures to his deputy, including of his erect penis covered in cream and decorated with a strawberry, the Sunday Times has reported.

White allegedly offered his deputy, Lorna Scheepers, a private trip for the two of them to Durban at municipal expense, the newspaper said.

Details of these incidents were contained in an affidavit submitted by Scheepers to the Western Cape executive committee of the ANC.

The party’s provincial secretary, Songezo Mjongile, confirmed that the party was investigating the allegations.

Police spokesman Novela Potelwa also confirmed the investigation.

White’s spokesman, Anthony Mlata, said: “

The mayor does not recall sending inappropriate messages to any of the citizens in the municipal area in his official capacity.”

ANC provincial chairman Marius Fransman said: “

We are taking these allegations very seriously.”

He said that once an assessment was finalised White could be disciplined.

In the meantime the mayor would continue with his duties.

Texas women sue website, host over “revenge porn”

If you’ve never heard of “revenge porn,” count yourself among the lucky ones. A group of Texas women are taking their battle to court to fight back against a website that publishes explicit photos of women without their consent.

Revenge porn is described as explicit, often nude, photos submitted to a website by a scorned ex-lover. Often times these sites will also publish identifying information, like the woman’s name, age or a screenshot of their Facebook profiles.

A group of 25 women in Texas are filing a class action lawsuit against Texxxan.com and its hosting company, GoDaddy.com, and are requesting a permanent injunction on the website.

Hollie Toups, 32, speaking with CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, said she shocked to find her semi-nude photos on the site, along with identifying information. Toup, who works as a teacher’s aide in Beaumont, Texas, believes her ex-boyfriend submitted her private photos to the website. The exposure on the site has already affected her life offline.

“I was at a store one day and somebody was like hey you’re the girl from that website,” Toups told CBS Dallas-Fort Worth.

One of the challenges Toups and her cohorts face is that Texxxan.com is run by an anonymous party and the website is protected by Domains By Proxy – a paid service that conceals a website owner’s personal information.

“I am very confident I will find that person,” says John S. Morgan, plaintiff’s attorney, told CBS Dallas-Forth Worth. “It really touched my heart the amount of emotional devastation every one of these women have suffered.”

Ultimately, the women want the website shut down and the identity of the administrator exposed, but the damage may have already been done.

“It was humiliating. I didn’t want to go anywhere. I started questioning people’s politeness,” Toups said, and wondered if in the backs of people minds they were thinking, “I saw you on that site.”

GoDaddy did not immediately respond to CBS News’ request for comment.

TopTV looking to porn again for rescue

TopTV looking to porn again for rescue | Channel24

Cape Town – On Digital Media (ODM) which runs TopTV has launched a second attempt to introduce pornographic TV channels in South Africa exactly a year after the country’s broadcasting regulator denied TopTV’s first application.

TopTV is currently under business rescue according to the Companies Act and seems to now believe that porn will save it.

Icasa confirmed to Channel24 that TopTV filed its second application for porn channels at the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) just before Christmas.

TopTV CEO Eddie Mbalo responded to a media enquiry, saying “this is a new application and not necessarily what was denied to TopTV by the regulator.”

The South African public and all interested parties have 21 working days from 19 December to comment on TopTV’s porn channel plans with correspondence which can be sent to the following concerned party:

Ndondo Dube
Broadcasting Licencing Unit, Licencing and Compliance Division
Block D, Pinmill Farm, 164 Katherine Street, Sandton Johannesburg, or

Fax 011 566 3200, or

TopTV applied in 2011 to Icasa to launch a porn package as a separate bouquet with a set of 24-hour pornographic TV channels – Private Spice, Adult XXX and Playboy Europe – during Christmas 2011, although the operator had no approval on the channel application.

In a resultant court case following an urgent court interdict by Icasa, the South Gauteng High Court said TopTV had to wait for Icasa to have the public hearing on the channels. TopTV didn’t appear before Icasa to answer questions regarding its own application and in early 2012 TopTV’s porn application was denied.

TopTV’s plans were met with huge public resistance. Scores of outraged TopTV subscribers cancelled their contracts and TopTV investors threatened to disinvest from the company.

All of it dented TopTV’s public image and damaged its brand.

TopTV’s first CEO, Vino Govender, at the TopTV launch in May 2010 said the company is run “with strong Christian ethical codes and we are not planning to introduce a porn channel” and that TopTV “doesn’t want to poison the minds of millions of South African children out there”.

In February 2012 TopTV announced that Govender was out with immediate effect, suddenly replaced by Mbalo as the new interim CEO. Later in 2012 Mbalo said Govender had “no broadcasting experience”.

Porn to save the business?

Now TopTV, which is looking for something to save the troubled pay-TV operator, is looking at porn as a possible saviour of its business.

TopTV is trying for a second time and has submitted an application for authorisation for such channels to Icasa again.

TopTV has lost a number of general TV channels from its bouquet – the latest being three channels from Turner at the end of December without providing a reason.

The company entered business rescue at the end of October but has made no public announcement about the application for the new channels.

Asked whether TopTV has any news to share regarding its business rescue plan, Mbalo said that “the business rescue practitioner will communicate at an appropriate time any information that is for public consumption”.

Asked why TopTV decided to apply for this type of channel again, Mbalo said “all the questions related to our application to Icasa will be responded to when we have our opportunity to respond during the public hearings if they do occur.

“The future of TopTV will be communicated at an appropriate time as part of the business rescue plan.”

Sheen living with porn star girlfriend

Sheen living with porn star girlfriend – IOL Tonight | IOL.co.za

London – Charlie Sheen is already living with his new porn star girlfriend.

The ‘Anger Management’ actor has been romancing 24-year-old Georgia Jones since October, and the pretty brunette has moved into the 47-year-old star’s Los Angeles mansion.

According to gossip website TMZ, Charlie is taken with Georgia because she only does girl-on-girl porn, unlike his former goddess Bree Olson.

Friends of Charlie say he hasn’t been this serious about a girl since he was dumped by Bree via text message almost two years ago.

Charlie moved Bree into his house in January 2011, along with model Natalie Kenly, during the height of his drug taking and referred to them both as his “goddesses”.

However, the former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star – who has two daughters, Sam, eight, and Lola, seven, with his second wife Denise Richards, three-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max, with his third wife Brooke Mueller and 27-year-old daughter Cassandra from his relationship with Paula Profit – recently claimed his house is now “normal” after both Natalie and Bree moved out.

When asked if he’d appear in a fly-on-the-wall TV show, Charlie said: “The mystery would be over if I did that, man. It’s a pretty mellow, pretty normal house. There’s kids, there’s animals … my kids and animals.

“My parents are there a lot and it’s just a really nice vibe there.” – Bang Showbiz

Swedish TV channel accidentally broadcast porn during evening news

Video: Swedish TV channel accidentally broadcast porn during evening news – TV & Radio, Entertainment – Independent.ie

THE definition of ‘sexy news’ has been taken to a whole new level after a Swedish TV station accidentally broadcast porn in the background of a news show.

Station TV4 was broadcasting a discussion segment on Russia’s involvement in the Syrian crisis when viewers noticed the erotic material on a screen behind the host.

Viewer Daniel Ek told Swedish paper The Local: “At first I realised I was looking at a naked woman and it quickly became clear she was having sex. It didn’t take long before I realised it was a porn film.

“The image wasn’t exactly in focus, but it wasn’t hard to figure out what was going on”, he continued.

He offered his own theories as to how the mix up happened: “I had two theories. One is that someone was pissed off after getting fired and put the porno up as act of revenge. My other thought was that someone had simply screwed up.”

The channel stated the incident was caused by a mix up in the feed – as the station’s parent company also operate adult channels.

News editor Andreas Haglind said: “It’s not like we were directly broadcasting porn. Put simply, it’s crap that it happened. We’re going to do everything we can so that it doesn’t happen again.”

Porn actress turn to pop music in ‘We Are The Party’

The line between mainstream pop music and adult entertainment gets blurred with the release of the debut single by The Ex-Girlfriends, led by pornographic actress Little Lupe, called “We Are The Party.”

Within the last several years, the line between mainstream and adult entertainment has blurred. You have adult actresses having minor to major parts in various mainstream movies. For example, porn actresses such as Jenna Haze had a very minor role in “Crank 2” starring Jason Statham. There was “The Girlfriend Experience” which starred Sasha Grey who played the role of an escort who documented her life and profession during 2008 leading up to the 2008 United States Presidential Elections. In “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City,” Jenna Jameson did the voice of the porn actress Candy Suxxx. Porn actress Heather Hunter transitioned into a hip-hop singer.

Apparently, it seems that adult entertainment and the pop music genre have merged. You may or may not have ended up getting a random pop-up ad out of nowhere. The pop up ad was a way of advertising the debut single of this all-girl pop group called “The Ex-Girlfriends.” However, one shouldn’t get this group mixed up with a currently existing all-female band called “Ex-Girlfriend.”

The Ex-Girlfriends is seemingly led by porn actress Lupe Fuentes who also goes by the name “Little Lupe.” According to the group’s website, the Ex-Girlfriends consists of Lupe, four other girls, a DJ, and their “bunny mascot.” It is explained that the person wearing the mascot suit as Hollywood actor Danny Trejo who has played in notable movies such as “Machete,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” “Con-Air,” “Desperado,” “Predators,” etc. Besides Lupe, the other four members are: Smash, Baby J, Dee-Love, and Tee-Money.

It is explained that those members have a resume of being either dancers and/or choreographers for major musical artists. In this respect, Fuentes is the only member to have a past in adult entertainment.

However, it’s not known on the level of success the group will receive. On the group’s YouTube page, the video for the debut single called “We Are The Party” has received a little over 208K in views since its upload on November 29. Apparently, the reception has been more negative than positive. While there are 3,100+ likes, there are almost 5,200+ dislikes.

On its iTunes page, the single got some positive reception. Keep in mind that there are only 16 ratings at the moment.

In a entry on the blog called “Today’s Pop Music,” dated December 4, the author also received a pop-up ad in which the music video for the debut song. The entry said that the production wasn’t bad. However, the blog post’s author said that Fuentes’ voice made what was supposed to be a catchy song become unbearable to listen to.

Apparently, the author didn’t know about Fuentes’ career as a porn actress as there was no mention of it in the blog post.

In short, this is an example on how the line between adult entertainment and mainstream pop music has made a blur. Currently, you can download the song from Apple iTunes for $.99. This is one of those songs that you can either love or hate. Reception is rather mixed. While on YouTube, the reception is more negative, the group’s Facebook page has over 20,000 likes.

Mommy Porn? How dare men put down women’s sexual fantasies’

It was by chance that EL James, the creator of the publishing phenomenon of the year, Fifty Shades of Grey, began writing about sadomasochistic sex. While browsing in a bookshop in Hampstead some years ago, she picked up Macho Sluts, a collection of eye-wateringly explicit stories of dominatrixes and dungeons by American author Pat Califa.

“It was my first taste of something really hardcore, and I thought: this is interesting. After that, I read some more BDSM [bondage and discipline, dominance and submission and sadomasochism] and wondered: what would happen if someone from that world met somebody who didn’t know anything about it?”

That idea was the kernel of the Fifty Shades trilogy, a sequence that has coined the salacious moniker “mommy porn”.

Told from the perspective of student and virgin Anastasia Steele, the books follow the story of her seduction by an emotionally damaged, ridiculously handsome billionaire called Christian Grey. Grey is a skilled proponent of BDSM, and their romance unfurls against a backdrop of whips and handcuffs.

Initially spread by word of mouth, and helped by the discretion afforded by e-books, Fifty Shades was the fastest paperback to sell one million copies, the bestselling book in the UK and had the biggest weekly global sale of a book (665,000 copies), with James becoming Amazon’s biggest-selling author.

Mother-Daughter Porn Duo Jessica Sexxxton, Monica Sexxxton

A mother and daughter in Tampa, Fla., have a unique way of expressing family togetherness — by creating a pornography site and shooting sex scenes together.

The duo — known collectively as “The Sexxxtons” — like many porn performers, don’t give out their last names. Jessica, the mom, and Monica, the daughter, have been creating kinky content for their self-titled website for the past year and have just released a DVD.

In order to confirm the Sexxxtons are really related and not just claiming that as a marketing gimmick, The Huffington Post reviewed both women’s driver’s licenses, and their private Facebook pages, as well as private family photos going back 20 years.

Although mother and daughter have sex in the same room at the same time — often with the same male or female partner — they insist that their encounters are not incestuous. For legal and personal reasons, they don’t actually touch each other during sex scenes.

“We don’t have a problem doing two-on-one,” Jessica, 56, explained to The Huffington Post. “We will have sex with one man, but not interact with each other.”

Monica, 22, said the kinky choreography is a lot more difficult than her mom makes it sound.

“It’s not easy to do,” she told HuffPost. “Our lips never touch and that can be a problem when filming.”

Those precautions, the Sexxxtons said, are what keeps their scenes from legally being incestuous, even if experts like Beverly Hills-based psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman, who has never treated the Sexxxtons, considers their activities to be “emotional incest.”

“This crosses so many lines, it’s like a labyrinth,” Lieberman told HuffPost. “Even if they’re not having sex with each other, it has to be titillating to one or both or them, so it crosses the line since sexual arousal comes into the mix.”

Porn stars are just like you

You can start peeling your notions. The common perception about female porn stars is that they are victims of abuse as children; they come from broken homes; and they fall prey to drugs. Feminists Andrea Dworkin and Catherine MacKinnon believe all pornography is rape. But this stereotype is called into question by a study in the Journal of Sex Research, which found that female porn stars do not have a higher rate of childhood sexual abuse compared to the general public. The study also found that porn stars are “not less psychologically healthy” than the public. Even more surprisingly, the porn stars studied may have had better self-esteem compared to a control group of women. The authors of the study posit that their level of comfort with being nude could lead to this reality. You probably need to be confident to have public sex. Phew, it’s time to wake up to these naked truths!

deep throat

deep throat

Perth’s first public porn screening has been canned.

The Rooftop Movies have stripped Deep Throat from their summer line-up, 40 years after it was originally screened in New York cinemas, after receiving four complaints.

“When we programmed Deep Throat we received some concerned commentary from a few audience members about the gender politics of the film.”

A Rooftop Movies spokesperson said: “We like to think that the relationship with our audience is an open dialogue, and when we programmed Deep Throat we received some concerned commentary from a few audience members about the gender politics of the film. These were not mindless rants, they were well considered critiques.

Deep Throat made an instant celebrity out of its star Linda Lovelace.Deep Throat made an instant celebrity out of its star Linda Lovelace.

“In light of this, we reviewed the screening of the film, took on board the feedback from our audience, and decided the concerns were valid enough to cancel the screening. Only eight tickets had sold at that time anyway.”

Deep Throat made Linda Lovelace porn royalty, but later in life she claimed that anyone who watched the film was watching her being raped because her husband/manager Chuck Traynor had forced her, at gunpoint, to take part.

When originally explaining its inclusion, program coordinator Jess Darlow said the decision to show Deep Throat was “nerve-wracking”, but believed people would be interested to see the cult film before a new movie about its star, Linda Lovelace, hit cinemas next year.

“It’s a bit of audience education,” she said at the time.

“There are a lot of new facts that have come to light about her life and it’s a good time to see the original.

“We’re looking at it as a cultural education rather than adult cinema.”

Deep Throat was due to be screened on December 8, but has since been replaced with a double screening of The Goonies and Monkey Magic.

Inmate runs porn business from jail cell

He was already convicted of tax fraud. But while serving time in Michigan’s Wayne County jail, one prisoner was able to run a multi-million dollar porn business.

For 18 months, Francis Sharrak was able to manage his internet porn and strip club business using a laptop computer and a telephone from jail.

Sharrak was awaiting sentencing on federal tax evasion charges.

Serving as his own lawyer, Sharrak asked for a computer to prepare his arguments, and they gave him one.

“Because he was representing himself we couldn’t go through the traditional standpoint of him asking the law librarians for something. Because he has the right to keep his defense preparation secret from us,” Sheriff Dan Pfannes said.

According to court documents of transcribed phone calls, Sharrak was bragging to a friend.

“Now, I’m the first one ever to have a computer in the history of this jail,” he said.

He even requested internet access but was denied.

The breech happened because an unidentified employee convinced those in charge that a court order demanded Sharrak have a computer, and that was a lie.

“This employee while not fired for this instance had other instances of credibility and truthfulness was called into question. That employee no longer works here so short term we resolved that issue. And on a more global long term basis, we’ve taken some steps that will prevent a recurrence of that nature,” Pfannes said.

Councillor steps down after watching porn on work laptop

The deputy leader of Leicestershire County Council has admitted watching hard-core pornography on a work laptop but said it was simply a “tool” that he and his wife used to help their relationship.

Councillor steps down after watching porn on work laptop
David and Sue Sprason have admitted watching the film, called She Likes It Rough

David Sprason has stepped down from his post whist the matter is investigated by Tory party whips.

He conceded that he had made an “unfortunate error of judgment” in watching the film, called She Likes It Rough, with his councillor wife Sue on a work computer.

But the couple insisted they were not embarrassed by the disclosure.

Mrs Sprason said: “We are a middle-aged couple who love each other as much as we did when we were in our 20s.

“When you get to middle age, you need a bit of assistance.”

More women watch porn than ever before

Paris – A study released on Friday challenges the myth that only men watch porn, showing that over 80% of French women have watched a porn movie before – one in two of them without their partners.

82% of women questioned said they had watched an X-rated film at least once before, compared to 99% of men, according to the study of 579 women carried out by the IFOP polling institute in September.

Their number has jumped from 73% in 2006, and from as little as 23% in 1992 according to a major INSERM study on French sexuality carried out at the time, IFOP’s Francois Kraus told AFP.

“In the space of a few years it has become an accepted thing for women to watch pornography, partly thanks to the internet, and video-on-demand services that made porn more accessible and took away the shame factor,” he said.

Changing attitudes towards sex

62% of women said they watched porn to spice up their sex life with a partner, but one in two had also done so on their own.

“Women are now consuming porn by themselves,” Kraus said.

“That goes hand in hand with a widening of sexual behaviour, and changing attitudes towards sex toys or fellatio for instance.

“And of course it raises the issue of masturbation, one of the great taboos of female sexuality.

“There is a real generational break, with women in their forties and younger much more willing to admit the practice.”

So what do women make of the films on offer?

Male fantasy slant

Women attached most importance to a natural-looking cast, a priority for 40%, while “realistic” sex scenes were essential for 35%, and for 48% of under 35-year-olds.

Most women felt strongly that the industry caters only to male fantasies, a view shared by 71% of women against 61% of men.

Likewise 72% felt the films on offer were “highly degrading” to women, against 50% of men, and 57% said they were too violent, compared to 41% of men.

Overall, women were still far less assiduous watchers than men, with only five percent of porn consumers watching frequently – once a month or more – against 34% of men.

Another 13% of women watched a few times a year, compared to 29% of men.

Frequent women viewers were younger, making up 17% of under-25s against less than five percent of the over-35s. And women with no sex experience were the most eager, making up a third of all regular viewers.

Based on a representative sample of 1 101 people aged 18 and over, the study was commissioned by Marc Dorcel, a provider of pornographic content, to mark the launch of a new porn site targeting the women’s market

Porn sites that match your face to sleazy stars

Using facial-recognition technology, two porn websites match user-submitted photos of people to porn stars, it has been revealed.

But there doesn’t appear to be any mechanism for consent on the part of the people whose images are submitted. And what happens if someone uses the matches to harass an ex-girlfriend, an ex-husband or a friend’s mother?

FEMALE porn stars are happier than other women, a startling study claims

The adult entertainers were found to have higher levels of self-esteem, positive feelings, social support, sexual satisfaction and spirituality than a control group.

Less surprisingly, the adult actresses also enjoy sex more and have much more of it, researchers found.

Porn stars typically start having sex earlier — on average aged 15 rather than 17.

And they have far more partners over their lifetimes — an average of 75, not including their on-screen work.

Porn actresses were no more likely than other women to have suffered childhood sexual abuse, the study found.

Researchers said their findings challenge widely held views about women who work in the sex industry and the evidence does not support the theory porn stars are “damaged goods”.

Psychologists in the US studied 177 porn stars aged 18 to 50 who had all been paid to appear in at least one blue movie.

The actresses, whose average career in porn was 3.5 years, racked up an average of 75 partners over their lives compared to just five for other women.

Over a third of the porn stars were either married or in a serious relationship, with 44 per cent being single.

And two-thirds of porn stars said they were bisexual, compared with 7 per cent of the control group.

The adult actresses also apparently have more energy and sleep better, the survey found.

The study was carried out by researchers from Shippensburg University, Texas Woman’s University and the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation.

They concluded: “These findings did not provide support for the damaged goods hypothesis.”

Here’s What Female Porn Stars Get Paid For Different Types Of Scenes

Here’s What Female Porn Stars Get Paid For Different Types Of Scenes – Business Insider

Most people have heard the name Ari Emanuel — the WME super agent who inspired Jeremy Piven’s Ari Gold character on HBO’s hit show, “Entourage.”

The name Mark Spiegler, a top talent agent in a different billion dollar entertainment industry, may not ring as many bells.

That’s because Spiegler represents porn stars.

While Emanuel, 51, represents talent such as Charlize Theron and Steven Spielberg; Spiegler, 54, represents top adult female stars with names like Skin Diamond, Chanel Preston and Asa Akira.

Spiegler’s boutique firm, Spiegler Girls, represents a small group of elite women and is regarded as one of the industry’s top agencies in the Hollywood of porn: The San Fernando Valley.

“We are the buffer — so the girl doesn’t look bad. We take the heat,” Spiegler told The Hollywood Reporter in their article “Inside the Risky Business of Porn Star Agents.”

But while many aspects of the business are changing — from the just-passed L.A. County measure requiring condom use in adult movies to shrinking profits — 40 million to 50 million people in the U.S. are reportedly still regularly watching pornography on the Internet.

“While a decade ago the average female performer would make about $100,000 a year,” Spiegler told THR “she now might make as little as $50,000 — all while juggling responsibilities such as social-media outreach and personal appearances.”

But for the select few females who make it to the top of the industry, paychecks can be “upward of $350,000 a year, while top male performers can make more than $100,000 annually.”

According to Dan Miller, executive managing editor of industry trade magazine XBIZ, there are about 250 “in-demand” women (called “models”) who work regularly, shooting between 100 and 150 scenes per year. “A popular girl is going to work a minimum of 10 times per month,” he tells THR.

According to Spiegler, there is a relatively straightforward scale for performances by an in-demand actress:

 • $800 for a girl-girl scene
 • $1,000 for a guy-girl scene
 • $1,200 or more for anal sex
 • $4,000 or more for “double penetration”

According to THR, “guy-on-guy pornography has a separate pay scale; most agents in the mainstream straight porn world, including Spiegler, do not represent gay men.”

But for each gig Spiegler books for his girls, he takes 10 to 15 percent, receiving the larger percentage if he also handles transportation for the client.

None of the agents THR spoke with would reveal how much money they personally make in a year, but sources told the trade that top agents can rake in around $250,000 a year from their 10 to 15 percent takes.

“It’s very competitive, and the well-known agencies do control most of the talent,” added Dan Miller. “It’s just like Hollywood in that regard.”

And agents don’t just handle the financial aspect of a deal, they also help clients set up personal websites, advise them on plastic surgery procedures, arrange for transportation to and from film sets and make sure the actors are staying on top of their mandatory drug and STD testing regimens.

But when it’s all said and done, shooting the actual porn films is just a small percentage of an adult film star’s job.

According to XBIZ’s Miller, “about 70 to 80 percent of an actress’ annual revenue is derived from movies, and the remaining 20 to 30 percent could be generated by everything from exotic dancing to sex-toy sales and personal website subscriptions.”

One of the most famous adult film stars of all time, Jenna Jameson, earned an estimated $30 million per year hawking her own brand of sex toys until she sold her popular website ClubJenna to Playboy for an undisclosed fortune in 2006.

While Jameson has managed to parlay her career into a mainstream market, other adult film stars argue the pay is simply better on the other side of the ‘biz.

Porn star Sunny Leone, a new Bollywood sensation, was paid a lower SAG scale rate for her work on the 2010 Will Ferrell-produced comedy “The Virginity Hit” but made about $250,000 for her role in the adult film “Jism 2.”

Pat Robertson ‘Shocked’ That Women Watch Porn, Enjoy Erotic Novels Like ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’

Pat Robertson ‘Shocked’ That Women Watch Porn, Enjoy Erotic Novels Like ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ (VIDEO)

Conservative Christian Pat Robertson said he’s shocked that some women watch porn.

The religious right’s controversial elder statesman brought up the subject during one of his recent “700 Club” talk show segments, in which he expressed surprise at the success of erotic novel “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Turning to his co-host, Kristi Watts, Robertson asked whether there was “anything in porn that attracts you?” A rather stunned Watts said “no,” but Robertson used the exchange as a segue into the topic of women and porn.

“We always thought this was a male thing, a boy thing, a guy thing,” Robertson said, “But now it looks like 30 percent of women are involved in pornography.”

Robertson also seemed surprised by the runaway success of British author E.L. James’ erotic “Fifty Shades” trilogy. The bestsellers were so hot, Barnes and Noble credited the series for a revenue bump, reporting a lower loss than expected in first quarter sales.

“Fifty Shades” is a salacious, if simplistic, saga involving a dashing, wealthy bachelor, a virginal young ingenue, and many, many sex scenes involving various BDSM themes.

Calling author James a “housewife-y type” from “some little town in England,” Robertson was at a loss to explain the phenomenon. The outspoken preacher was getting no help from Watts, of course, who had already sworn off pornography in all its forms. (For his part, Robertson said he found porn in all its forms “boring.”)
